Lizzie and Baba

If don't create your reality, your reality will create you

Webcast Week #35

Before we start in on our weekly summary of the show, we want to say, welcome to our new website! Because we think of you as our close knit group of supporters and friends, we are sharing Baba’s web masterpiece with you first (thanks so much for your help Gregg)…and while were at it, we are also letting you be the first to hear the new Download of The Month, “Destiny“. We recorded it here at home in the romantic mountains of Colorado. Hope you enjoy the music and please donate if you can. In the meantime, feel free to explore the site, check out the new This Abundant Life Community Blog, and if you have time, please sign the guest book or leave a comment on the blog.

Okay, now for the report on Week 36. It was a peaceful and well heard gathering indeed-thanks to Miker’s suggestion of using mics even when we’re talking. We sang “Waiting For A Sign” and then showed the video Darcy sent in, Finish Strong, which is truly a lesson to us all and if any of us are ever feeling sorry for ourselves, best to watch that one again.

Then we sang “Starfish Lullaby” and lulled the spirits into a gentle state of watching over. We showed the 350.org video and we plan to attend the event in Eagle, Colorado tomorrow-hope you find one in your area and go show your support too. The music video we chose was Time To Cry which was made in 2003 by my brother, Kermit, and it features footage from the movie we made called Living Life As Fiction (ending with footage of my performance at Red Rocks). One of these days, we’ll share more pieces of the movie on this show. The next video was an interview with Representative Thaddeus McCotter about the bill he is trying to pass which will give pet owners tax benefits. Vote Hemp was the activism and agriculture video rolled into one and it is a great example of why we should support those who risk themselves getting arrested to be on the front lines fighting for good causes. We sang “Sometime” and could practically hear you singing along at home about how our America is being controlled by big corporations.

It was wonderful to see you on Alicia and Pheonix Moon and Kara. Alicia, Deb, Darcy, Gregg, Karen, Leigh, Terry, Katherine and all the others who continually make this community stronger and stronger every week, thank you for being there last Sunday!

MISSION:
Our vision is to bring more and more people together every week, uniting friends and family around the world with consistent reminders of life’s abundance. If we come together weekly, we believe we can help each other transform this world into the world we imagine it to be, because as we all know, “if we don’t create our reality, our reality will create us.”

Lizzie’s Creating Reality Tip of the Week

Some nights, before I go to bed (especially when I am doubting my path) I like to ask myself, “if today were the last day of my life, what do I wish I would have done?” Whatever the answer is, well that’s what I set to work on first thing the next morning. This really helps me to stay focused on making my dreams come true and creating my reality as I imagine it to be. So, that’s my tip, short and to the point. As Mama used to say, “live every day as if it were your last and every moment
as if you had an eternity.” Remember, our bodies are vehicles for out eternal selves, so don’t let yours drive you into madness. Holy Now friends. X=h/m.
