Artist Statement
As artists, we are dedicated to facilitating positive change in the world through music and story. We believe music and story have the power to transform people in a positive way, no matter what the age. We blend fantasy and reality through multi-media platforms to achieve this goal. The content we create lends itself to both physical and digital distribution in the forms of live musical performances, audio cd’s and downloads, books, e-books, apps and videos.
Bio
Lizzie and Baba are a husband and wife team. In July of 2011, the duo successfully raised over $30,000.00 on Kickstarter–through their worldwide fan base–to support the creation of “Thank You for Giving Us… (or How We Found the Flying Key)”, a children’s book, app and cd. They are authors, composers, musicians, illustrators, and performance artists. Separately and together, the duo has released music on Warner Bros. Records, Appleseed Records, and independently through the web. Lizzie and Baba have toured nationally and internationally performing and teaching music since 2000. Their songs have been played in films, TV shows, commercials, and on the radio worldwide.
