Webcast Week # 37
Well, we missed you all again last week but the week before, week 37, was a loving reunion that made us truly appreciate this community. We were so happy to be back doing the bundance with everyone! Besides a slew of great videos, we sang Imagine by John Lennon, Pirate Song (not yet recorded) and London Bridges Falling Down–on the spur of the moment at the request of little Groovy Baby Ben who’s 11/2. This coming Sunday will be a very special episode. You won’t want to miss it since we have loving surprises in store for you! So, until then friends, holy now and we’ll see you in the dream.
Creating y*Our Reality Tip:
Let it go. Let it flow. Though we create our reality, we do it in collaboration with a Source greater than ourselves and sometimes that energy (whatever you want to call it) knows better than we do what is best for us at any given moment. So if we ever feel like we’re swimming against the current of life, that means it’s time to just let go, give in and surrender to the Source. Trust that life has great things in store for us even if it doesn’t feel like it in the eye of the storm so our best option is to give thanks for the thrashing weather of true experience and ride those big waves with joy. If the waters start crashing over your head, don’t fight them, just find your feet, spit out the sand and catch your breath on the shore until it’ time to get out there and swim again.
Webcast Week #36
Week 36 was a passionate rebellion of love and satisfaction. Our version of Get Up Stand Up opened the show and it led into the extremely moving video Darcy sent, Lost Generation. Baba talked to us about his visit to Carbondale Colorado for the 350.org event, he showed us an inspiring video of his time there and then he played us his new song, King Corn-about the dangers of manufacturing corn and the dominating power of the food industry set against the backdrop of his small town Midwestern upbringing. We shared another piece on the importance of organic gardening which was sent to us by the Organic Consumer’s Association.
Gregg gave us the next video, a commercial about health care featuring Heather Graham, which urged us all to call our Senators and representatives this week. Baba and I did and we hope you did too. No worries if you haven’t yet, you can call over the weekend and leave a message. To drive home the importance of the issue we played our new, work in progress, music video…Call Your Senators (which has new lyrics about health care). Everyone seemed to be especially interested in my honeybuns.

Webcast Week #35
Before we start in on our weekly summary of the show, we want to say, welcome to our new website! Because we think of you as our close knit group of supporters and friends, we are sharing Baba’s web masterpiece with you first (thanks so much for your help Gregg)…and while were at it, we are also letting you be the first to hear the new Download of The Month, “Destiny“. We recorded it here at home in the romantic mountains of Colorado. Hope you enjoy the music and please donate if you can. In the meantime, feel free to explore the site, check out the new This Abundant Life Community Blog, and if you have time, please sign the guest book or leave a comment on the blog. Okay, now for the report on Week 36. It was a peaceful and well heard gathering indeed-thanks to Miker’s suggestion of using mics even when we’re talking. We sang “Waiting For A Sign” and then showed the video Darcy sent in, Finish Strong, which is truly a lesson to us all and if any of us are ever feeling sorry for ourselves, best to watch that one again. Webcast Week #34
After going to see Don Miguel Ruiz speak in Fort Collins, Colorado, we were both feeling especially inspired to host week #34. Liz Klug led the Mountain Pose again, Miguel Ruiz talked to us about our legacy, the bouncing baby was sent by Cam and gave us all a giggle, Organic Consumer’s Association provided a video on the importance of buying organic, Robert Reich inspired us to contact our representatives about health care this week, the water slide made us all question what’s real and what’s not in this world of graphic alteration.

Webcast Week #33
The mountains have brought us much peace and continue to do so every day. Last week’s show included wise words from the great Eckhart Tolle, a mountain pose from Liz Klug, a video sent by Hillary Melville about natural building structures by The California Institute of Earth, Art and Agriculture, The Beckoning Of Lovely sent to us by Deldino, a Kitchen Concerts contribution from Jamal and a live guest.
Tracy Straus is the amazing spirit who brought us to Colorado, having hired Baba to be musical director in residence for her non-profit, Celebrate The Beat. She is helping children all over Colorado to reach
their potential through dance. It was fascinating talking to Tracy in person about her work, her commitment to the project during hard times (even when she felt like she wanted to throw in the towel) and her own ability to create her reality to help create a better world. The Bun Dance was especially challenging since we were working to keep up with a professional Bun Dancer, but we’re always happy to receive a challenge that helps us grow, right?
